POST-CONSUMER JEANS FURNITURE

The rapid rise and success of fashion brands in bringing low price & trendy clothes to the market have led to a major shift in consumer behavior. The incomprehensible scale of the garment industry and the sheer quantity of fabrics and trims that are produced for clothing each year is what makes the garment industry so destructive.

What alternatives can be developed and used? We explored opportunities to upcycle the post-consumer textile waste and make a collection of long-lifecycle products out of the textile waste.
