Tide Ocean SA transforms plastic from the Ocean, coastlines, and uncontrolled landfills in Southeast Asia into quality products. In cooperation with scientists at the Swiss University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil, Tide Ocean SA has developed a method to repair and up-cycle the plastic waste into high-quality granules and yarns for new sustainable goods. For this achievement in the circular economy, #tide was honored with the German Materialica Design & Technology Award 2019 and the Swiss Plastics Sustainability Award 2020. #Tide’s environmental and social impact is certified (Global Recycle Standard and Recycled Claim Standard) and meets several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
